Ridge Canoe & Kayak Club Annual Dinner Dance Gala

The majestic woods of Whonnock Lake provide the backdrop for a special evening in support of the Ridge Canoe & Kayak Club, a club founded and built on community spirit. Proceeds from the evening contribute directly to the planning and construction of the new Whonnock Lake Paddling and Recreation Centre.

Heritage Week

Our community celebrates heritage in a variety of fun ways that showcase to the community the relevance of our unique history. Pitt Meadows Day

Pitt Meadows DayCome out and help us celebrate this popular free annual community tradition in Harris Road Park on Harris Road in Pitt Meadows.  Start the day off with a delicious pancake breakfast served by the Lions Club from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, then watch the parade at 11:00 am.  Afternoon activities for the whole family kick off at 1:30 pm with the opening ceremony and the crowning of Miss Pitt Meadows, followed by entertainment, children's crafts, rides and bouncy castles, and Youth Fest. The salmon and chicken barbecue begins at 5:00 pm, and is followed by a family dance, and a spectacular fireworks finale at 10:00 pm at South Bonson Athletic Field.  Check the local newspaper for full details closer to the event date.

Webster's Corners Day

Webster's Corner Community Association members and local residents join forces to celebrate its community's heritage. This annual family event features games and interactive activities for kids of all ages, including a pie eating contest.  Enjoy a historic display of the community and its pioneers provided by the Maple Ridge Museum, the meet old friends at the Heritage Tea. Tea and goodies will be served from 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm.

Canada Day

Canada Day - Maple Ridge

Canada DayCelebrate Canada Day at  Memorial Peace Park. Festivities take place from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Begin your day with a visit to the Haney Farmers Market, followed up with lots of interactive activities for children and families.  The official ceremonies, flag-raising and awards will begin at 12:30 pm.  Entertainment, singing, dancing, activities, food and fun continue throughout the day.  Don't forget to participate in our neighbourhood "Show Your Colours for Canada Day" contest.

Canada Day - Pitt Meadows

Celebrate Canada Day with an eight kilometer walk/run beginning at 8:00 am and an official Canada Day ceremony at the cenotaph next to City Hall beginning at 10:30 am. Activities include a pancake breakfast, a kids zone, an Athletes in Kind  kids one and two kilometer race, displays, entertainment, art contest, award presentations, a First Nations blessing and more.

Canada Day - Haney House

Come for an old-fashioned tea and tour of the Haney home.  Activities for children include face painting and dress up clothes. Try the stilts too!  Join us at Haney House Museum at 11612 - 224 Street from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Maple Ridge Caribbean Festival
