- Support the retention and expansion of local businesses that add to the quality of life in Maple Ridge
- Establish a strong business network and share resources (join the Chamber of Commerce)
- Create job opportunities in Maple Ridge
- Register your business or property with the BC Film Commission
- Shop local

- Building a sustainable community that includes a mix of residential, commercial and industrial land uses
- Developing "green" principles for new industrial development
- Promoting the job creation opportunities of the proposed TransLink-BCIT Maintenance and Transportation Training Centre
- Investing in telecommunications infrastructure
- Profiling Maple Ridge as a preferred film location
- Applying award-winning business planning and financial management tools to safeguard the community's assets
