Maple Ridge is the entrance to Golden Ears Provincial Park, a playground for nature enthusiasts, hikers, mountain climbers, and horseback riders. This park encourages family recreation along Alouette Lake and numerous creeks, lakes and trails in the Coast Mountain Range.

Golden Ears Provincial Park is well known for its extensive system of hiking and walking trails. These trails vary in length and difficulty making it simple to find a trail that suits your needs. Whether you're looking to stroll along the Lower Falls trail or tackle the Golden Ears or Alouette Mountain Hiking Trail, you are sure to be delighted by the phenomenal country scenery. Keep an eye out for breath-taking waterfalls, beautiful mountain tops and a wide variety of wildlife, including deer and beavers.

Golden Ears Provincial Park is one of Maple Ridge's many treasures. Walking or hiking through this park is sure to bring you much delight, and probably a few surprises along the way!
